Vijay is an active member of the Social Work Council of the Western New England University Social Work department and helps in the planning and implementation of the annual Social Work Conference. Vijay also served on the board of the Department of Children and Families area offices, was Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Caring Health Center, and a chairperson of the Southampton Housing Authority. Blue in Green is a series of paintings by Barbara Smith (b. 1987 Rockford, IL) that, in the tradition of color field painters and abstractionists, attempts to display a purity of pigment and expression. This was followed by completion of the Addiction Course and certification through UMASS. After starting to work full-time in the field, she went on to obtain her Masters and LMHC in 2012.
Erik has successfully demonstrated skills in evaluating regulatory and contract matters, client advocacy, developing client relationships and management. We place a strong emphasis on welcoming residents with disabilities, though our residents form a true mosaic of life, from all cultures and walks of life. We are a family; one that exists to help residents realize for themselves the potential within themselves and their lives after addiction. Finding with them the person they were, and the person they are yet to become, free of addiction.
